This video is going off on FB. Go figure! I’m irritated by it. I’m just as irritated with this as I was when they decided to strip Dr. Martin Luther Kink Jr. of his Doctor title. He cheated fair and square, he got it and had it through his life, it’s history now. He was dead…why bother? Why insult him, his name, his family and even the school that gave him the degree.
My point is it is history. Right?
Columbus was a pillaging, slave trading fucktard sure, but he’s dead. His days of rampage are dead with him. What he did can’t be changed by not remember him. He made some pretty spectacular discoveries in his lifetime. Some I’d say worthy of a day of remembrance. Acceptance people. History cannot be erased. Remembering it for what it was is why we can change the future. Though, there is speculation that will happen with grace based on the present.
