  7. to beat the dust off that inside-out lookin’ meat-wallet….i would have to get paid good money 5 bucks a min, and i would not go farther than across the street….unless she had a shit-ton of Pabst ice-cold in the fridge, then i would walk to the end of the block…..but in reality i would most likely steal all her beer in the middle of the night, and surprise my girlfriend with sweet victory.

From north of Seattle to the southern end of Portland, OR, Labor Day weekend last year.  What should’ve been about a 3 hour drive became almost 6 because of the traffic, and most of that was just to get from Tacoma to the other side of Centralia.  Was so worth it though.  Spent the weekend with my favorite Daddy bear, got my brains fucked out multiple times, including about halfway through an outdoor archery range.

    Best 3-day weekend ever.

  25. I have driven 17 hours from Williamsburg VA to New Orleans and 14 hour from Wburg to New Hampshire many times as a younger man for this reason.  It was well worth it and next week marks 25 years together.

Either from North Philly (Elkins Park) to Kutztown on public transportation (south to 30th street station, then north on a bus that goes through Quakertown, Bethlehem, East Allentown, West Allentown, Kutztown), or 2.5 hours from Allentown to Strasburg in a shitty ’89 Cherokee with a busted master cylinder. Same girl both times.

  30. 3 hour+ walk there, got high, did the deed, walked home fell asleep walking, Had to get home cuz I’m in the desert in the summertime and if I don’t get there before the sun comes up I’ll be hating life,,,,her name was Nancy, her sister was Laura,,,I kick myself in the ass now cuz I see now in retrospect that I probably could have nailed them both but probably would have died out in the desert,,,that would have been beautiful!

  36. Dallas to LA once, drove straight through. Also Dallas to NYC, and Dallas to Atlanta, but those were plane rides – no pain except to the wallett.
    I’d have married the one in LA if she’d of had me.

I love being able to work Airplane quotes into conversations.  One of my proudest moments was when I called my ex about my cell phone (which was still in her name at the time).  I said “I have a question for you about my cell phone.”  She said “What is it?”  Without skipping a beat, I said “It’s a hand-held electronic device used for interpersonal communications, but that’s not important right now.”

    She hung up on me.

  45. I think i recal driving back late one night, 2 hour drive at 85 mph in that busted ass vehicle on a windy ass state road and I fell asleep for 7 minutes… woke up wondering how the fuck I was still on the road.

  46. About 4250km(2640mi) on a grey hound bus for three and a half days. But like a couple others have stated; love was involved, or at least I was convinced it was at the time to travel that far. Stayed there for two weeks, lots of great sex but unfortunately on the whole… the trip was regretful and horrible.
