FAQ:

what is torchlight like?

with the start of the new server it’s a brand new fresh world. once a base gets established we are planning to link our previous maps via portals for multiple world exploring and building goodness.
we play normal mode.

what are the rules?

the rules are pretty basic,
-no griefing of finished or on going projects.
– it’s a big world, most people don’t want neighbors. be considerate of other peoples builds when you start the foundation for yours.
-please do not chop down the trees inside the base walls, near other miners projects or any that have torches.
-TNT is off limits.
– if you are MIA (no log ins for over 3 months) your builds MAY be subject for removal by a mod. this will largely only pertain to unfinished projects or *cough* … eyesores.
– basically, don’t be an asshat.

do i have to pay?

torchlight is free to join and play on, however it is not free to run. we will start accepting donations soon, more info on that as it becomes available.

i’m just a lurker :c should i even bother trying to join?

YES. some of my favorite builders (and now friends) were complete strangers to me when they joined. don’t let that stop you.

ok this looks fun, how do i join?

  1. Could ya copy me on the email via pm please? I.looked through both inbox/spam and do not see anything :-/ am on.my phone so.will have.to check again at home.

  2. This would be better if it showed the spawn point, and if north was labelled – I can’t reconcile this with what I know of local geography unless “north” is on the left side of the map – what we traditionally call “west”.
