OC – Steptoe Butte

This place is about an hour south of us in the middle of Washington wheat country.  I have a winter, spring and summer picture (in different directions).  I hate where I live, but when I move I will miss going up here.  Reminds me of a book I read as a child.

And if it bores you, an old vet on the road to the butte made a replica of the Iwo Jima memorial.


The only place near us that has actual fucking foliage instead of scrubby fucking Ponderosa Pines.
