Love that last one – looks like Main Mission or a Bond supervillain control center or something.
Face it: like them or not, conversation pits are more interesting than the boring bog-standard ranchburgers pumped out by a lackluster building trade today.
The Science Centre in Toronto has three large pits like this just inside the entrance. They’re blue, green, and red, as I recall… used to be covered in carpet. Tons of fun to pay in as a kid.

Wahhhhhhh, I was in Toronto in August, but didn’t get a chance to go the Science Centre. 🙁
