So obviously this host (the server delivering the site to you) is proving problematic. As in downtime, entire databases and sites gone missing in hack attacks etc. Yesterday apparently some individual posts went missing.
There are only three criteria I have for hosting:
- They must have a stated policy that they don’t give a rat’s ass about DCMA (copyright claims).
- They must have reasonable pricing ($35 per month max) as I am currently paying it out of pocket
- They must offer a LAMP box – this means Linux or Unix, Apache, mySQL, and PHP. No windows servers.
I’m paying month to month here so moving would be no great loss.
