but a lazy google search yielded nothing, so:
I won’t spoil it, but let’s just say it’s rather, er, “dramatic”.

thanks skinnyhead! awesome how many details I was totally wrong about, haha.
BIRDY NAM NAM – THE PARACHUTE ENDING from Steve Scott on Vimeo.
there was a music video recently (in the last two years, I guess?) — it was a techno/instrumental band, and the video was animated. it was thoroughly psychedelic and trippy, and involved some protagonist fighting against some … thing in the sky shooting down cubes (?) that did something funky once they landed in the ground. I think the source of the cubes/meteorites was itself a giant cube or something geometrical.
at the end one of his hands turns into a key, and he opens and door with it and … something. it was very distinctive and I think even the band’s name (or song name) was quite peculiar, and I would totally recognize it if I saw it listed somewhere. I have a very mild association of the band with Daft Punk, but it’s not them. maybe French? dunno.
