well, objectively, the world became much safer, less violent and less hungry, i think we just able to read about more going on around the world, it is not as if hunger in India for that matter wasn’t a thing 60 years ago, we just knew less.
the only thing i think is a problem, that we over populated to a point that any disturbance to our resources-food-trade-enrgy kind of system will echo much longer and will be much more costly, economically and life-wise.
and by disturbance it could be one bad year with abnormal early frost somewhere crucial, be it China, Ukraine, Russia or the American midwest (the food baskets), and someone somewhere, might be an African might be an Australian will be effected, financially in the good scenario, might actually be hungry in the bad one.
its kind of sad though, cause the common believe is that the earth can support around 11 billion people with the current technology, we just distribute the worlds food like fuckers.
