Filmgeek note: the movie was based on the author’s alleged real experiences which he’s written like 3 books about. In the books, he never actually claims they’re aliens – he leaves the option open that he’s just delusional. I thought that’s a pretty refreshing attitude compared to the usual abduction weirdo.
