“Dog Boy Hits The Skids” “Everybody” “Die For Me” “Tanker Truck” A few years ago, I was in a crappy punk band. The guitarist very badly wanted us to sound like the Dead Kenedys. I thought we should sound weirder. So I took the drums tracks from our demo and wrote a bunch of surf/punk songs over top of them. I used the song competition site SongFight.org as motivation to record the tunes.
The guitarist hated them. But to this date, these are my favorite things I’ve recorded. (To confuse the issue, I am most proud of my debut, “Hygienic Productions.”)
